The album will be titled VISION and with it the pianist explains the way in which she captures the world now. Through her piano María Parra sees further. It is a review of her own existence, which now comes together musically adding jazz, flamenco, celtic, pop and folk with amazing naturalness, to the classical substratum on which she has formed her career. This piano of feminine sensitivity creates a new sound, with recognizable echoes, and presents a different and exciting way of seeing classical music. Through her vision, María Parra tells herself.
Before the publication of VISION —launching on July 3 on digital platforms and in September in physical format—, María Parra will premiere on May 13 on social networks and digital platforms, the single and video clip Light at the end of the tunnel which will not be included in VISION. It is her most recent composition, according to the moments that humanity has had to live through, and expresses the hope of resuming life with a more conscious vision after confinement. Whether reconstruction is for the better will depend on ourselves, and this composition invites us to do so.
