Maria Parra Trio is made up of Maria Parra on piano, Miguel Rodrigañez on double bass and Gonzalo Maestre on drums.

Maria Parra arrives at 21distritos to present us Vision, her first album made up of her works backed by double bass player Miguel Rodrigañez and drummer Gonzalo Maestre, with whom she forms one of the most solid rhythmic bases on the Spanish jazz scene.

For the pianist, music is a constant challenge. After many years devoting her time and effort to perfecting her style, she found herself when she decided that happiness came from expressing her intimate emotions through her own compositions.

In ‘Visión’, Maria Parra projects herself from a harrowing introspection. It is a review of her own existence. Creations that can also be understood as songs and about which stories, sensations, landscapes, cinematographic sequences can be imagined… Through her vision, she finds herself.
