Maria Parra will offer a concert within the program of the Segovia MUSEG Music Festival, organized by the Don Juan de Borbón Foundation.
Starting from her classical training, pianist María Parra has evolved in recent years towards jazz and modern music, the result of her youth studies at the Taller de Músics of Barcelona, and also towards the composition of her own works. As a total author and soloist, with Warner Music Spain she published VISION in 2020, and in 2022 GEA, which was considered the best of the year in the Classical section of + Músicas, the platform that rewards female talent. This constant creative evolution has been reflected in the jazz trio with which she self-released INTUITION this May, an album in which her compositions open up to new paths and experiences, and with which she has already toured a good number of festivals and clubs. The entire sound universe that has shaped her musical taste has filtered through her to achieve emotional creative moments. In El Espinar we have that same traveling and jazz pianist in an intimate dialogue between the public and her instrument, the Piano Total.
