Maria Parra will present her new CD «GEA» with this concert within the cycle “Concerts a la Cripta”.

GEA es el segundo álbum como compositora de la pianista María Parra, y el cuarto de su discografía. El término procede de la mitología griega, y hace referencia a la diosa que personifica el planeta Tierra. María Parra se ha consolidado como una de las referencias en la escena new modern-classic. Este trabajo fue compuesto durante el paro mundial y el confinamiento por la pandemia de 2020. En cada una de sus canciones María toma aún más conciencia de lo que ya había expresado en su anterior trabajo “Visión”. Todo le debemos a la naturaleza y su equilibrio.

GEA is her second album as a composer for the pianist Maria Parra, and the fourth in her discography. The term comes from Greek mythology, and refers to the goddess who personifies the planet Earth. Maria Parra has established herself as one of the references in the new modern-classic scene. This work was composed during the world strike and the confinement due to the 2020 pandemic. In each of her songs, Maria becomes even more aware of what she had already expressed in her previous work “Vision”. We owe everything to nature and its balance.
