María Parra will offer a concert in the CentroCentro auditorium, in Plaza de Cibeles on April 21.

CentroCentro joins the celebrations of the European Day of Music by joining the second edition of the Piano City Madrid festival as the principal venue.

A new edition of Piano City Madrid returns, a festival open to residents and visitors with which to enjoy live music and the always captivating sound of the piano. A total of 55 free concerts in some of the most emblematic places in the city where, once again, performances by a great cast of pianists of works of diverse musical styles will be heard, from classical music, through jazz, new age or the most advanced music.

After a whole life dedicated to the classical piano as a performer of immortal artists, Maria Parra appears as an emerging artist and new creator who, with her subtle and evocative music, is capable of transmitting very diverse emotions. She does not renounce her past, but a new sound universe gravitates over her that unites the harmonies of the most brilliant pop, the improvisational capacity of jazz, the old wisdom of the most popular and even the magic of the flamenco. With two classic albums (Rêverie and Mouvement), she released Vision in 2020, her first album as a composer, with GEA being the follow-up, released in May 2022.
